Web Producer, Sky & Telescope

Sky & Telescope, the essential magazine of astronomy, is looking for an experienced Internet developer to upgrade and manage its website (SkyandTelescope.com). The Web Producer will work with the magazine’s editorial, art, and support staffs, and with outside contributors, to design a new home page, provide dynamic new content, and boost the website’s social networking functions. Extensive familiarity with amateur astronomy is a plus. Applicants must be willing to relocate to the Boston metro area, so he or she can work closely with the magazine’s staff in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This is a full-time position. Director of e-Media, New Track Media

The Director of e-Media will be responsible for development and execution of strategies and plans across all subject areas, leveraging New Track's legacy brands, which enjoy leadership print positions. The individual will work most closely with the company CEO, the SVP/Publishing Director, and a couple of great people working on the company's existing sites, although there will also be ongoing interaction with Publishers and the Circulation group. The objective is to establish this position as the in-house leader for e-Media, addressing strategic needs and implementing a range of plans for the company's brands, which will include coordination of external and internal resources.
